Position: Outside Sales Executive

Description: The Outside Sales Executive (OSE) is responsible for maintaining and growing Luna Labs revenues through the sale of self-paced learning products. They maintain no specific geographic territory, both current customers and prospects that must be maintained and grown. They are responsible for prospecting for new business in addition to following up on qualified leads that are generated and assigned to them. Each OSE is assigned a monthly quota which is to be achieved every month as part of their annual performance agreement with Luna Labs.

Requirements:

  • OSE must have prior sales experience, either face to face or via the phone
  • Must be accustomed to thinking creatively and quickly and be able to handle objections satisfactorily
  • Must have strong time management skills and experience in managing a territory to prioritize responsibilities
  • A successful history of achieving sales results in a monthly oriented compensation plan
  • Familiarity with Microsoft application development programs and languages a plus
  • Familiarity with Technical training environments or e-learning industry a plus
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications and comfort level with new computer applications to perform job requirements

Position: Embedded Systems Engineer

Description: This design embedded engineer position will be a key member of a development team working with new and existing infrared camera and instrument products. The position's primary responsibilities will emphasize the digital and embedded microprocessor aspects of camera and instrument system design. As a team member, the position will require interfacing with other company departments to develop system level design requirements and specifications, collaboration with other design team members to develop general camera system architectures, implementation of design details associated with digital and embedded microprocessor aspects of the system, test and debug of prototypes, and documentation of designs for internal manufacturing and end application use. The position's duties will also include support of existing camera products including general product sustainment and enhancement, as well as design customization per specific customer order requirements. Development support tasks which require the creation of test and evaluation software for PC environment are also anticipated.

Requirements: 

  • B.S. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Related work experience in imaging or instrumentation fields desirable
  • Familiarity with use of FPGA CAD tools such as Altera Quartus II and a strong working knowledge of C++ and assembly level programming required
  • Familiarity with hardware descriptive language digital design entry methods (VHDL/Verilog) desirable
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a manufacturing oriented environment required
