Basically it's a miniature block containing a microprocessor (Microchip), a display (122x52 pixel LCD), a battery, a 5 position joy stick and a interface connector to connect to the PC program for downloading drill table information. The processor goes into a sleep mode to save the battery power. A 32.768 kHz crystal is also included to accurately measure microseconds.

Product Application: Pneumatic Drill weighing 7lbs used to time the drill time utilizing the electronic miniature block. This device is used to drill aircraft wings where as the drill bit is timed and if it exceeds the required time for a specific metal it is replaced. This procedure saves wing damage and maximizes the use of the drill bits.

A PC program that communicates via USB to the drill is used to download data, graph trends and view the data graphically in Excel.

How it works:
1. Click
the button at the desired holding level
2. With the violin held up at
the chosen level the light the light will be green.
3. When violin is lowered, the
light turns red and the buzzer will beep after a few seconds.
4. Once the violin returns to its chosen level the light turns green again.
